1) Recruitment of workers:

On receipt of the Demand Letter and Power of Attorney duly attested by the nearest Bangladesh Mission, A.T.B OVERSEAS LTD. shall collect applications through any or a combination of the following processes to find out the most suitable candidates for consideration of the Employer.

a) ADVERTISEMENTS

  • Newspaper Advertisements
  • District Employment and Manpower Offices.
  • Specialized Supply Agencies.
  • Notice Board of A.T.B OVERSEAS LTD.

b) SELECTION

Applications thus received/collected, shall be scrutinized for screening and shortlisting as per requirements of the employer for an interview and final selection by the Recruitment Officers of A.T.B OVERSEAS LTD. The employer or his representative is also welcome to carry out an interview for the final selection of candidates, if they so desire, for which A.T.B OVERSEAS LTD. will provide necessary assistance and logistics support, e.g.

  • Issuance of Interview Cards
  • Arrangement for practical Trade Test (if needed in advance)
  • Arrangement for expert services, if required, for highly technical jobs.

2) Passport:

Finally selected candidates intending to go abroad generally have their passports. A.T.B OVERSEAS LTD, however, may offer its services to get a new passport, if required by the employer or the job-seekers, as quickly as possible.

3) Medical examinations:

The finally selected candidates are sent for Medical Test to the authorized Medical Centers of the Embassies/High Commissions of the respective countries.

4) Entry Visa:

A.T.B OVERSEAS LTD will apply for Entry Visa for the medically fit and finally selected candidates with co-operation of the employer to the host country’s Embassy/High Commission located in Bangladesh. If there is no Embassy in Bangladesh, it will be the responsibilities of the employer to apply for a visa and other permits needed by the workers to enter the country of employment.

5) Immigration Clearance:

A.T.B OVERSEAS LTD. will obtain necessary Recruitment Permission and Immigration Clearance from the Bureau of Manpower, Employment & Training (BMET) under Ministry of Expatriates Welfare and Foreign Employment for the workers prior to their departure.

6) Ticketing:

The employer may send PTA or remit necessary traveling expenses in favor of A.T.B OVERSEAS LTD. to facilitate the traveling of the candidates. A.T.B OVERSEAS LTD. has its own Traveling Division to purchase tickets or to process PTA for dispatch of the workers.

7) Orientation & Briefing Before Departure:

A.T.B OVERSEAS LTD. shall provide basic orientation and post-recruitment and pre-departure briefing to the workers before their dispatch. The Employer may also join at the orientation session. The workers are briefed about their duties and responsibilities while abroad and amongst other subjects, a piece of firsthand information on the Labor Laws, religions and cultural values in the host country, weather, language, food habits and work-environment there.
